Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2026

Trial Match Point ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the rights you have regarding your information when you interact with our website and services.

1. Who We Are

Trial Match Point is an independent opportunity resource that helps adults discover open clinical trial programs in their area of interest. We are not a research organization, clinical trial sponsor, healthcare provider, or medical facility. We do not conduct research, enroll participants directly, or provide medical advice.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Name, email address, and optionally mobile phone number.
  • Free-text notes you choose to share about your availability or interests.
  • Consent selections regarding SMS and terms of use.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, and referring pages.
  • Basic analytics about which pages are visited, in aggregate.

We do not collect protected health information, diagnoses, lab results, or other health records through this website.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to inquiries you submit through our forms.
  • To send account notification text messages about clinical trial matches, follow-up steps, and study coordination, if you have opted in.
  • To send promotional and marketing text messages about new categories, special campaigns, and program updates, if you have separately opted in.
  • To make a courtesy introduction to an independent program when one fits your stated interest, only after you have been informed and have consented to that specific introduction.
  • To improve our website, content, and coordination service.
  • To meet our legal, regulatory, and security obligations.

4. SMS Consent and Messaging

SMS consent is collected through two separate, unchecked-by-default checkboxes on our forms. One opt-in covers account notification messages. A second, separate opt-in covers promotional and marketing messages. Consent is never bundled.

Your mobile phone number is never required to use any free resource or coordination service. SMS consent is not a condition of any service. You may reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not share, sell, or transfer mobile information or SMS consent information to any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes.

5. How We Share Information

  • Independent trial programs: When you have been informed about a specific program and have consented to an introduction, we share your contact details with that program only.
  • Service providers: We work with vetted vendors (such as email and SMS infrastructure providers) under contracts that limit their use of your information to performing services for us.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with drug development companies, biotech firms, research hospitals, or clinical research organizations except as a direct, consent-based introduction to a specific program you have agreed to.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use a minimal set of first-party cookies and aggregate analytics to operate the site and understand usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data Retention
